Roll-off dumpster rental across Cape Cod

CC Dumpster Rental Cape Cod runs out of a yard on 19 Tradesman Cir in East Falmouth, a couple of minutes off Route 28. Nate Souza started the company in 2011 with one truck, and the reason was simple enough: the haulers working this stretch of the Cape were hard to reach, vague about timing and quick to add a charge nobody had mentioned. So we do the opposite. One number that covers the job. A delivery window we actually hit. A person on the phone rather than a form on a website.

Cape Cod is one county and fifteen genuinely different towns, and the differences matter to a truck. Half of Truro sits inside the National Seashore. Provincetown's West End has streets barely wide enough for a container and almost no driveways. The Route 6A corridor runs through a historic district. Almost every property here is on a Title 5 septic system that a loaded container must never sit over. Knowing that before the truck arrives is most of the job.

Whatever you are clearing — a cedar shingle tear-off, a family cottage, a framing job or a yard full of storm-downed pitch pine — the container exists for it. Call (774) 208-0570 and describe it in a sentence.

How it works

Four steps, one phone call

Most bookings take under four minutes.

  1. 1

Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the box needs to sit and when you need it, and whether the property is on septic. No forms, no waiting on an email.

  2. 2

We size it and quote it flat

You get one number covering delivery, the rental period, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.

  3. 3

Delivered on boards, where you want it

The driver walks the spot with you, lays protection under the rails and sets the container square. If the surface is sand, shell or soft ground we will say so before we set it down.

  4. 4

    Load at your own pace

Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.

  5. 5

We haul it and sort it right

Clean concrete, metal and green waste get routed for recovery rather than buried, which is what the Massachusetts disposal bans require. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local knowledge

Fifteen towns, and we know the driveways

There is a difference between covering an area and knowing it. We know which Woods Hole lanes a roll-off truck can turn on, which Osterville driveways have a stone apron that will rut, that the Orleans rotary in August is a scheduling problem and not just a traffic one, and that a Provincetown placement usually means a conversation with the town before it means a truck.

Our service area page breaks the Cape into the four stretches locals actually think in — Upper, Mid, Lower and Outer — and each town has its own page covering access, housing stock and the local rules we run into.

Why us

Why people call us back

  • You reach the yard, not a call center

The phone rings at 19 Tradesman Cir in East Falmouth. Whoever picks up knows which Woods Hole lanes a truck can turn on, which Provincetown streets have no driveway at all, and what the Route 6 backup is doing that afternoon.

  • One flat price, said out loud

Delivery, the rental period, pickup, fuel, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance in a single number. If your load looks like it will go over, we say so before the truck leaves the yard.

  • Same-day on the Upper and Mid Cape

Call early and most Falmouth, Bourne, Sandwich, Mashpee and Barnstable orders go out the same day. Lower and Outer Cape runs are scheduled — honestly, and in advance.

  • Septic and driveway aware

Almost every property here is on Title 5 septic. We will not set a loaded container over a tank, a distribution box or a leach field, and boards go under the rails on every driveway as standard.

  • The right box, not the biggest

Weight fills a container long before volume does. If a 10 yard filled halfway is the honest answer for your concrete, that is what we will quote you.

  • Sorted to the Massachusetts rules

MassDEP bans concrete and brick, metals, clean gypsum, yard waste, mattresses and textiles from disposal. We sort to that list as standard and tell you how to keep a load clean on site.

Credentials

What you are actually hiring

No invented testimonials on this page. These are checkable facts, and the client's real Google reviews slot in here at launch.

  • Licensed and insured

Fully insured for general liability and commercial auto. A certificate of insurance goes to your property manager, general contractor or association on request, usually the same day.

  • Fifteen years, one owner

Nate Souza started the company in 2011 and still runs it. The number on this page reaches the East Falmouth yard, not an answering service in another state.

  • All fifteen Cape towns

Bourne to Provincetown, plus the villages inside them. We tell you honestly which are same-day and which are scheduled runs before you book, not after.

  • Sorted to the Massachusetts rules

Clean concrete, scrap metal and green waste get routed for recovery rather than buried, which is what the MassDEP disposal bans require and what keeps a load from being charged back.

Cape Cod towns we deliver to

We run roll-off containers out of our 19 Tradesman Cir yard in East Falmouth to all fifteen Cape Cod towns and the villages inside them — from Woods Hole and the Bourne bridges through the Mid Cape and Route 6A, out past the Orleans rotary and up the Outer Cape to Provincetown. Outer Cape runs are scheduled rather than same-day, and in July and August everything books up early. If your village is not listed, call anyway. We almost certainly get there.

Answers

Dumpster rental on Cape Cod — your questions

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster on Cape Cod?

The price depends on the container size, how dense the debris is, how long you keep it and how far out on the Cape you are. What matters more is how the price is built. Ours is a flat rate covering delivery, the rental period, pickup, fuel, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance, so the figure you are quoted is the figure you pay unless the load goes over that weight. Call with a short description of the job and you will get a firm number on that call, not a callback.

How quickly can you deliver a dumpster on Cape Cod?

On the Upper and Mid Cape a morning call is often an afternoon delivery. The Lower and Outer Cape run on scheduled routes, so plan on a day or two. From Memorial Day through Labor Day everything tightens up and a week of notice is realistic. Jobsite swap-outs get priority over new deliveries, because a full container stops a crew working.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster on Cape Cod?

It depends on the town and on where the container sits. On your own driveway it is usually straightforward, although Falmouth requires a fire prevention permit for any dumpster over six cubic yards even on private property. Anything placed in a street or public right-of-way should be treated as needing town permission. Our town-by-town permit guide lists who to call in each of the fifteen towns.

What can't go in a dumpster in Massachusetts?

Hazardous waste of any kind, paint and solvents, fuel and oil, propane tanks, asbestos, refrigerant appliances, ammunition and medical waste are never allowed. Massachusetts then adds its own disposal bans, which is the part that catches people out: asphalt, brick and concrete, metals, clean gypsum wallboard, leaves and yard waste, whole tires, and since November 2022 mattresses and textiles. Banned material found in a load gets pulled and charged back.

Will a dumpster damage my driveway or my septic system?

The septic question is the one nobody asks and everybody should. Almost every Cape property is on a Title 5 system, and a loaded roll-off over a tank, distribution box or leach field can crack a lid or collapse a D-box. Your town's Board of Health holds the as-built plan showing where yours is. On the driveway itself, boards go under the rails as standard on every placement, and we will talk you out of a spot that looks wrong before we set the container down.

Which dumpster size do I need?

Volume and weight are two separate limits and the material decides which one stops you first. Household clear-outs and construction offcuts run out of space, so size up. Concrete, brick, tile, plaster and wet carpet run out of weight with the box barely a third full, so size down and fill it part way. The 20 yard suits most whole-project jobs; the 10 yard is the right answer for anything heavy.

Do you deliver to the Outer Cape and Provincetown?

Yes, all fifteen towns. Distance is real, so an Outer Cape run is scheduled rather than same-day and is not priced identically to a Falmouth delivery. We tell you both things on the phone. In Provincetown and parts of Wellfleet, where many properties have no driveway at all, placement needs planning before anything is booked.

When is the best time of year to book?

October through April, without question. Contractors are more available, containers are easier to schedule, and you are not competing with rental turnover. That off-season window is when most serious renovation work on the Cape actually happens. If your job has to run in July or August, book as far ahead as you can and expect Saturday slots to go first.
